Teen Burglars Held At Gunpoint

According to police, a 36-year-old man awoke to popping noises resounding from the back of his residence. He took a .40-caliber handgun from his room and walked down the hallway to investigate. Detecting movement from the rear bathroom, the man opened the door and found a 16-year-old climbing through the window and another standing outside; both boys wore cotton gloves. The homeowner held both suspects at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived. Police arrested the boys on suspicion of burglrary and possession of burglary tools. The Tribune - San Luis Obispo, CA
