79-Year-Old Accosted At Gunpoint
Amor Kerboua thought it was a joke, but the man who accosted the 79-year-old in his car and demanded money was dead serious. Police say the robber pointed a gun at Kerboua, who still thought the robbery was a prank and brushed the gun aside. When the robber trained his pistol back on Kerboua's face, however, the realtiy of the situation was apparent. Kerboua handed his assailant more than two hundred dollars, but that didn't satisfy him. He pointed the gun at Kerbou's stomach and said, "I'm going to shoot you, [expletive]." But it was the robber himself who was about to get shot. Kerboua, who has a concealed handgun permit, drew a .38 Smith & Wesson from his front pocket and shot his assailant, who fell but kept his gun raised, forcing Kerboua to shoot him twice more.
